Strength Training is held on Mondays at 11.30 at Priority 6 (Unit 10a, Radley Road Industrial Estate, Abingdon OX14 3RY). It involves using Kettlebells, Rowing Machines, Assault Bikes and Barbells to improve our strength and cardiovascular fitness. It is a lot of fun and all exercises can be scaled down to the very basic level for people who have never done this type of exercise before. The Coach is really experienced, very friendly and has been taking these classes for us since April 2018.
Due to the Covid 19 pandemic are classes are temporarily suspended. We will be back up and running as soon is it is safe to do so.

Saturday mornings at a school in Abingdon. This may run again next summer. Further details to be confirmed.
Today, I transferred/lifted my child’s supplies into the garage! Usually I get into a right state and leave half of it for the hubby to do but today I managed it all on my own. I feel I had more awareness of my posture to lift the items and move them carefully and I don’t feel exhausted either!
When I saw the advert about 'fit to care' it was at the right time for me to take the leap. I had no idea what I was going to walk into just that I was ready to make a change, get fitter and stronger. I'm so happy I contacted Karen as my time at Priority 6 has been fantastic... I'm getting fitter, stronger and I've lost over 2 inches off of my waist, I'm down a dress size. This is what I do on a Monday now and I'm looking forward to the next session. I've also got myself a kettle bell.... Must be going a little mad ?
I'd never been to a gym and found the whole idea quite scary. When the fit to care classes came to my attention, I felt it was something that I could really benefit from plus I would be attending with other parents/carers - so this gave me the confidence to give it a try. Priority 6, the training coaches and Karen have all made it an excellent experience from the very first session! I felt very welcome, I've enjoyed every session and most importantly I've seen progress in my fitness levels each week. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend these classes to others.
